Derelict Building.JPG - This is a derelict building on the junction of Southwark Street and Redcross Way near London Bridge / Borough. The photo is taken from underneath a railway bridge over Southwark Street. The 19th C. building used to be a warehouse and my theory is that the damage is down to the Luftwaffe - but I could be wrong. I like it because in the exposed upper floor are the remains of shelves still attached to the wall - see next photo. Unfortunately, the best view is from the railway line above - I see it every day on my commute to work. The building is for sale. The estate agents describe it as "basically sound". A snip at 2.5 million.
