Camp Porridge

I saw a recipe recently in an outdoors magazine for a breakfast recipe involving, instant custard, digestive biscuits and dried fruit. Call me old fashioned but what's wrong with good, healthy porridge?  It's easy to make, filling, warming and healthy.

Mix together porridge oats and powdered milk before the trip and carry in a grip seal.  You could have one grip seal for each breakfast apportioned for the number of people in the party. You can also add dried fruit if like that sort of thing.

Add water and bring to the boil, simmer for a few minutes.

Drizzle with honey from a squeezy bottle.
